1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the website of DayOne Dental PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “the Practice”). By accessing or using www.dayonedental.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please discontinue use of the site immediately.

2. No Medical Advice

The content on this website—including text, graphics, videos, and blog posts—is provided for informational purposes only.

* Not a Substitute: This content is not a substitute for professional dental advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always seek the advice of Dr. Bergquist or another qualified health provider with any questions regarding a medical or dental condition.

  • No Doctor-Patient Relationship: Use of this website, or communicating with us via the “Call Us”, “Text Us” or “Book Now” features, does not establish a doctor-patient relationship. Such a relationship is only formed after a clinical examination has been performed in our office.

3. Florida Dental Advertising Disclosure

In compliance with Florida Statute §456.062, the following disclosure applies to all advertised discounted fees (including our $45 Urgent Exam & X-Rays):

THE PATIENT AND ANY OTHER PERSON RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYMENT HAS A RIGHT TO REFUSE TO PAY, CANCEL PAYMENT, OR BE REIMBURSED FOR PAYMENT FOR ANY OTHER SERVICE, EXAMINATION, OR TREATMENT THAT IS PERFORMED AS A RESULT OF AND WITHIN 72 HOURS OF RESPONDING TO THE ADVERTISEMENT FOR THE FREE, DISCOUNTED FEE, OR REDUCED FEE SERVICE, EXAMINATION, OR TREATMENT.

4. The “Financial Waterfall” & Payment Policies

By seeking treatment at DayOne Dental, you acknowledge the following financial terms:

  • 25% Administrative Discount: This discount is an incentive for streamlining our administrative costs. It applies only to treatment plans settled in full on the day of service via cash, check, or credit card. This discount cannot be combined with HMO plans, with any reduced fee promotional offer, or cases where we are required to wait for insurance reimbursement.
  • No-Credit-Check Financing (Denefits): This is a third-party service. While we offer this “safety net,” your contract is with Denefits. DayOne Dental is not responsible for the terms, interest, or collection policies of third-party lenders.
  • Insurance: We accept most PPO plans. We provide the courtesy of filing claims via eAssist Dental Solutions, but the patient remains 100% responsible for any balance the insurance provider denies or fails to pay.

5. Same-Day Treatment & Technology Disclaimer

We utilize advanced technology (SprintRay 3D printing) to provide “DayOne” solutions.

  • Clinical Feasibility: While our goal is “Immediate Treatment,” Dr. Bergquist reserves the right to delay a restoration (such as a crown or denture) if a patient’s clinical health, infection level, or bone structure makes same-day delivery unsafe or unpredictable.
  • Precision: We strive for micron-level accuracy; however, the longevity of all dental work depends heavily on patient compliance with home care and follow-up maintenance.

6. Appointment & Emergency Triage

  • 7-Day Access: We are physically present in the office from 7 AM to 6 PM, seven days a week.
  • Live Answering: Our 24/7 live human answering service is for triage and scheduling. Our operators are not licensed clinicians and cannot provide medical diagnoses over the phone.
  • Cancellations: We require 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Because we reserve high-demand emergency slots for patients in pain, failure to show may result in a cancellation fee or a requirement for a non-refundable deposit for future visits.

7. Limitation of Liability

DayOne Dental PLLC shall not be liable for any damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, this website or the information contained herein. This includes, but is not limited to, technical errors, viruses, or inaccuracies in the descriptions of dental procedures.

8. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. You agree that any legal action or proceeding relating to your access to or use of this website shall be instituted in a state or federal court in Orange County, Florida.
