3. AI Quality Assurance & Randomized Recording

- Random Selection: On a randomized basis, clinical exams and treatment planning conversations are selected for AI analysis.
- Mandatory Consent: We never record a patient conversation without prior written authorization. If your visit is selected, you will be asked to sign a specific consent form before the recording begins.
- Staff Agreement: All DayOne Dental staff members have consented to quality recordings as a condition of their employment.
- Security & HIPAA: All AI analysis is performed under a strict Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Google. Audio data is encrypted, processed in a secure environment, and is never used by third parties for marketing purposes.
- Right to Decline: Participation in our QA program is entirely voluntary. Declining to be recorded will not affect your access to treatment or any promotion or discount offered.
4. Third-Party Sharing
We share information only with trusted partners necessary to fulfill your “DayOne” care:
- Google Cloud: For secure AI analysis and clinical documentation.
- Lender Waterfall: Specialized dental lenders DentalFinancing and Denefits to find your best payment path.
- Lab Partners: Digital scan data sent to Digital 3D print file suppliers for same-day crowns and dentures.
- Insurance Processors: eAssist for PPO benefit maximization.
5. SMS & Communication
By providing your phone number and utilizing our “Text Us” features, you consent to receive communications regarding your care. You may opt-out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. We do not share SMS opt-in consent with third parties.
6. Your Rights (HIPAA & Florida Law)
